The Story Behind the Work

Two very different environments taught the same lesson.

Rob Davis Jr. developed his approach to consulting through firsthand experience in two demanding environments: education and competitive athletics.

As a former school music teacher and high school basketball coach, Rob learned that successful leadership is rarely about simply knowing more than everyone else in the room.

It is about knowing how to connect with people, communicate a vision, develop talent, create culture, adapt when something is not working, and help individuals become part of something larger than themselves.

Those experiences now form the foundation of Rob Davis Jr. — a consulting practice designed to help educators, coaches, schools, and organizations strengthen the way they teach, lead, engage, and develop people.

The environment may change. The work of developing people does not.
